Loadcell privacy policy
Loadcell is a strength-training app for a Bluetooth load-cell machine. It works fully offline without an account. This policy covers the optional account, which backs up and syncs your training history.
Without an account
Everything stays on your phone. Nothing is sent to us. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes your history unless you have exported it.
What we store when you sign in
- Account details from Google or Apple: your name, email address (or Apple's private relay address) and the provider's account identifier.
- Training data you choose to back up or sync: workouts, programs, logged sets, machine readings and settings, plus a random identifier for each install and the app version.
- Session records: when you signed in, and the IP address and device type of the request, used to keep your account secure.
We do not keep the access or refresh tokens Google or Apple issue. We use the identity they confirm only at the moment you sign in.
How it is used
Only to run backup and sync for you. There are no ads, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not sell or share your data. Nobody else can read your rows: the database checks every request against your signed-in account.
Where it is kept
On Microsoft Azure in the Central India region (Pune), encrypted at rest and in transit. Azure keeps automatic database backups for 7 days for disaster recovery.
Deleting your account
In the app, open Settings, Account, and choose Delete account. Your account, every backup and every synced change are deleted from the live database at once. Copies in the 7-day disaster-recovery backups age out within 7 days. The training history on your phone stays there unless you remove it. Without the app, see how to request deletion.
Children
Loadcell is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
